Fidelity Sportswear is back for AW14!

Fidelity Sportswear was established in 1941 in Boston, Massachusetts as a military supplier to the US Navy.

15 years ago a high demand for quality, American Made outerwear from the Japanese market saw the company delve into the archives for adaptations of their Naval officers clothing.

Although the company has evolved dramatically over the past 70 years, the trim and buttons used today are the same quality and style that have been in use since 1941.

Pros: Good sound for the price, feels solidly ccertsuotndCons: Narrow shelf/lip may not fit all tabletsI bought this mainly for use with my Kindle Fire. It puts out an impressive amount of sound and bass for its size and price. But as the previous reviewer stated, the shelf where you rest the tablet probably isn’t deep enough for all devices. If you run the audio cable up through the bottom as intended, the Kindle Fire doesn’t sit right. I’ve resorted to connecting the cable from around back, which works well. Also, power switch is a bit small and hard to get to around back. That, plus the fact that the power LED is back there as well, has led me to leave it switched on after use once or twice.

This dock is a bargain. It’s hard to beviele that it cost me less than thirty dollars. The sound quality is good but somewhat muffled. However, I never had a problem understanding dialect. The two speakers can get very loud and produce a small but satisfying amount of bass. There is no volume control on the unit itself so you’ll be dialing in the volume through the connected device. The construction is solid. It will accommodate a device less than half an inch thick and it allows you to run the device’s power cable under the dock through a channel. The unit has weight to it and has rubber underneath to prevent it from sliding. On the back of the device you’ll find the audio port (cable included), the power port (NO charger included) and the power switch along with a blue LED that will light up when the power is on. I like the fact that it comes with a rechargeable battery for portability. As I mentioned before, the dock doesn’t come with a charger, only a USB cable. The power input is 5 volts (doesn’t list the amperage) for those of you looking to purchase a power supply. Overall, I’m glad I purchased this dock.
